Your responsibilities:

 

  • Supporting the bioprocess development team in routine laboratory tasks, such as:
    • Preparing laboratory solutions.
    • Cell passaging.
    • Preparing laboratory equipment for use (e.g., calibrating scales and pH meters, assembling bioreactors).
  • Monitoring the inventory of reagents and consumables in the laboratory.
  • Ensuring the availability of reagents and materials at levels agreed upon with the supervisor.
  • Preparing and managing orders for materials and reagents.
  • Preparing and receiving shipments and deliveries of materials and reagents.
  • Documenting performed activities in accordance with applicable procedures.
  • Preparing equipment manuals for routine use, work instructions, or other documents related to laboratory activities.
  • Supporting data collection from recorders and ensuring the integrity of data generated by the laboratory.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in the laboratory (washing/cleaning glassware, general housekeeping, waste disposal, etc.).

 

Required Competencies:

 

  • Secondary education (graduates of chemistry-related schools are welcome).
  • Entry-level position – previous laboratory experience is welcome but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (ability to prepare and format documents in MS Word, work with Excel spreadsheets, and prepare PowerPoint presentations).
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of English (at least written).
