The IT Support Specialist is responsible for resolving current issues with IT equipment, software and infrastructure.
Your duties will include:
- Receiving and logging user problem reports, initial prioritization, root cause analysis in the ServiceNow platform;
- Independently diagnosing and resolving most user problems, IT equipment faults or directing to the appropriate service/support group;
- Installing and configuring hardware, software and peripherals;
- Assisting users with current issues (e.g. file recovery, granting access, starting systems);
- Creating documentation of IT systems used in the organization;
- Managing user accounts, groups and computers in AD/AAD;
- Participating in IT projects as a team member;
- Replacing computers, phones, printers, peripherals;
- Supporting corporate events, preparing videoconferencing equipment;
- Managing the Microsoft Office 365 service;
- Managing remote software distribution and monitoring systems;
- Supporting IT Administrators in the area of managing file servers, email, antivirus systems, application servers;
- Teamwork, supporting other IT employees in their daily duties;
- User training in the scope of basic hardware and software functionalities.
If you have:
- Over 3 years of experience in a similar position;
- At least secondary education, although IT or technical education is welcome;
- Good knowledge of English, spoken and written, at least at B2 level;
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft client/server environment;
- Working knowledge of ITI methodology;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 office software;
- Knowledge of PC structure and peripherals;
- Knowledge of MacOS/iOS/Android environment;
- Experience in working on IT ticket platforms (experience in working with ServiceNow preferred);
- Knowledge of Azure, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, Endpoint Manager will be an additional asset;
- Ability to operate audio and video devices in meeting rooms;
- Perseverance in solving problems and independence;
- Ease of communicating with users, patience, and empathy in contacts with other people;
- Ability to cope with stress and work under time pressure.
