Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting health and safety and fire prevention trainings;
- Development and implementation of procedures and standards of conduct in health and safety and fire protection;
- Co-creating occupational risk assessments at workplaces;
- Issuing opinions on personal protective equipment;
- Preparation of post-accident documentation;
- Organizing and participating in work environment measurements;
- Carrying out controls and audits in the field of health and safety and fire protection;
- Control of production processes in terms of compliance with fire protection and health and safety requirements;
- Promoting a safety culture among employees;
- Management of Safety Data Sheets (SDS base, obtaining cards, verification, registering cards in the database, outsourcing the development of a safety data sheet to an external company (if applicable);
- Managing the Inventory of Hazardous Substances (database management, storage of printouts with the inventory of substances, archiving the file in electronic form);
- Creating, co-creating, giving opinions, approving documents related to chemical substances/mixtures;
- Acceptance of purchase requisitions for reagents and consumables;
- Conducting SDS training and other tasks resulting from the implemented procedures for substance management;
- Cooperation with departments in the field of transport of hazardous materials (ADR). Consulting topics with an ADR advisor;
- Propose improvements in substance management, ADR;
- Notification of dangerous mixtures through ELDIOM;
- Outsourcing work environment measurement, coordinating measurement -related activities, keeping cords in accordance with legal requirements in this regard;
- Expanding knowledge in the field of substance management and using it to improve processes and procedures.
If you have:
- At least 3 years of experience in EHS area;
- Higher education, or post-graduate studies in occupational health and safety;
- Additional education in the field of chemistry/environmental protection or related;
- Title of OHS Specialist and Fire Protection Inspector license;
- Knowledge of English at an advanced level in speech and writing;
- Knowledge of MS Office;
- Team Orientation;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Ability to discipline and motivate others;
- Ability to follow the rapidly changing environment protection legal requirements;
- Good work organization;
- Using the acquired knowledge in improving processes and procedures regarding safety and environmental protection.
