Technical Development Operations Laboratory Technician

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supporting the organization and maintenance of Research and Development laboratories at Polpharma Biologics.
• Placing orders, verifying deliveries, controlling stock levels, and monitoring timely receipt of supplies.
• Receiving, labeling chemical reagents, and replenishing laboratory materials.
• Calibrating selected equipment according to applicable instructions and procedures.
• Preparing and receiving shipments, including managing related documentation.
• Maintaining cleanliness in designated laboratory areas, including washing laboratory glassware, assessing cleaning quality by external services, performing additional cleaning tasks, and waste management.
• Supporting more experienced colleagues.
• Reporting equipment and infrastructure malfunctions.
• Supervising the handling of reagents, including hazardous substances.
• Registering equipment in the SAP system.
• Performing manual data backups.
• Participating in task rotation within the team.
• Following health and safety, hygiene, and environmental protection standards within the laboratory.

If you have:

• Secondary or bachelor's degree in biotechnology, biology, chemistry, analytics, or a related field.
• Ability to perform simple calculations and conversions related to percentages, molarity of solutions, dilutions, etc.
• English proficiency sufficient to read simple instructions and understand basic oral communication.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Accuracy, attention to task quality, and technical skills necessary for laboratory work.
• Laboratory work experience is an advantage.
